Since our founding in 2016, the Reading Renegades have been dedicated to creating a space in Berkshire where everyone can be their authentic self while enjoying the sport we love. As we proudly enter our 10th season, our team has continued to grow and find its identity. We are a fiercely LGBTQ+ inclusive club, founded on the belief that rugby is for everybody. This isn't just our mission; it's the very heart of our community.

We live our values by actively breaking down barriers that can prevent people from playing. Through dedicated financial assistance funds and wellbeing initiatives, we ensure that anyone who wants to play has the opportunity to join us. It is our commitment to turn up for our members and support each other both on and off the pitch.

As active members of International Gay Rugby (IGR), we offer a full calendar of opportunities to compete, travel, and connect. We participate in both IGR Union and Touch leagues and regularly attend major European and international tournaments, such as the Union Cup and the prestigious Bingham Cup. For us, it’s about playing hard, creating lifelong memories, and having fun together as one team
